I currently work in the K-12 setting as a School Psychologist for a public school district. I work directly with general education and special education students in various capacities, including assessment for special education eligibility and services. I also work with both populations in regards to behavior supports/management, mental health counseling, and academic interventions and supports. I lead my site teams in student crisis response. I work closely with, teachers, case managers, social workers, outside service providers, and administrators, while advocating for students and parents/caregivers.I have been working in the field of education for over 10 years. Prior to becoming a School Psychologist, I have had experience as an athletic's coach, substitute teacher, an elementary aid, and an elementary teacher. Education is more than a job, it's what I am passionate about.
