As the Communications Manager for the Village, I work closely with its staff, board, and the mayor to fulfill our community's vision and plan for the future. My ongoing responsibilities include promoting and communicating to the public and beyond Glen Carbon's many assets. Glen Carbon offers residents beautiful parks and greenspace, wonderful schools, and walkable neighborhoods that appeal to a wide range of homeowner preferences.Businesses of all sizes and services are joining the Village because they love its prime location and appreciate the many amenities here. Edwardsville and Glen Carbon have become ideal destination locations for visitors and residents alike, offering great restaurants, shopping, and recreation. With a background in agency public relations and marketing, the Village of Glen Carbon is my client - and as a resident I feel lucky to be a part of my community's promotional and growth efforts.

I currently manage many accounts, handling marketing budgets, social media, blogging, SEO, event planning, public relations and more.

At Cork Tree Creative, I handle new business development, copywriting, social media, SEO and project management. Regularly I work with our creative team in graphic design, events and PR efforts for the firm...absolutely loving what I do.

Oversaw all aspects of customer training program and marketing for the company which included events marketing, presentations, collateral material, newsletters, and other customer correspondence.

Managed training profit-center, hired instructors, created training calendar semi-annually, promoted classes and was the primary point of contact for the many companies that sent their employees to attend courses. Classes were PEU certified.

Marketing Coordinator for wireless cable company (that has since gone defunct). Also handled office management, including human resources and collections.
