Possible summary:With over 20 years of experience as a speech and language pathologist, I have developed a passion for helping children and families with communication needs. I hold a CCC-SLP credential from ASHA and a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Houston. I am currently working as a Speech Language Pathologist at Faith Family Academy, where I provide assessment and intervention services for students with diverse speech and language challenges and provide clinical supervision to therapists. In addition to my clinical role, I am also a successful healthcare administrator and educator. I was the Chief Operating Officer and the Clinic Director & Speech Pathologist at PediaPlex, a pediatric therapy center that offers multidisciplinary services for children with autism and other developmental disorders. I led the growth of PediaPlex from a single clinic to multiple locations, overseeing all aspects of the business operations, team building, billing, credentialing, strategic planning, and analytics. I also share my expertise and knowledge as a Clinical Educator at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where I mentor and train future speech and language pathologists.
