As an instructional Designer in the Application Modernization business unit, I was responsible for the design and delivery of e-learning modules and tutorials for customers of our products. In this role, I worked closely with an international team of Subject Matter Experts and Software Engineers to create courses that helped our customers learn how to use our suite of products, and modernize them. Our team embraced the Performance Support philosophy by embracing user personas and identifying moments of need, to deliver the right learning support at the right moment to help users be more effective when using our products.

I started at Uniface in the Performance Support team primarily working as a Technical Writer. In addition to writing technical documentation for a low-code development platform, I helped develop a Performance Support philosophy to identify our users' moments of need, and create the appropriate resources, such as blogs, infographics, e-learning modules and tutorials, and working closely with agile development teams to identify areas to improve usability and contextual help in the product.

My position was Lead Learning Designer at Hubble Studios, as well as a Team Lead in the Learning Design department. My role was primarily focused on leading the instructional design process (from design to creation and implementation) of custom e-learning programmes in the academic, corporate and non-profit space. This included working in the Articulate 360 suite, with various learning management systems, primarily Moodle, scriptwriting, content writing, editing, and quality assurance. I also worked closely with subject matter experts and internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects.My additional responsibilities included managing a team of learning designers, as well as serving as an account manager and project manager on a wide variety of local and international accounts, in the retail, financial, health and biotech sectors, as well as executive education and non-profit clients.I took a particular interest in the technology side of the learning experience, working closely with clients and development teams to ensure they had the right digital ecosystem to ensure their training needs were met.
