Associate Program Director, Smart About Money
Working with Smart About Money, I get to spend time directly with undergraduate students about how to become financially independent. I have led events for freshmen students about saving money in college, including tips and tricks, as well as facilitating targeted events for sophomore students who are debating whether or not to go off-campus and the costs associated with it. I am able to provide the resources necessary for students to gain confidence to take on with them when they graduate from UMass.

Tjx Merchandising Intern
I had the opportunity to learn five completely new softwares within the span of two weeks and utilize them all individually on a daily basis. I was able to extend my understanding of the retail industry while working alongside the leading retail company across the globe. While working in the womens' swim and coat department, I was able to analyze reports and draw conclusions. As a first year intern, I was able to deliver my ideas of how we can continue to drive sales to my team members. I also had the opportunity to assist in the negotiation of both coats and swimwear for all Marshalls and T.J. Maxx stores in the country.
Summer Camp Counselor
Working as a counselor for two summers taught me what it truly means to be a leader and a role model. I was responsible for the care, support and well being of twenty girls, aged 9-11. By using innovative methods and teaching them to use communication to solve their disputes, I was able to foster a welcoming environment and inspire campers to be active participants in their communities. My time spent being a camp counselor solidified my skills of patience and understanding, as well as what it means to be in a team, working alongside 15 counselors.
Software Developing In The Curriculum Department
While in the curriculum department, I had the opportunity to work with numerous systems and ensure that all of the material was able to be viewed on various platforms-- all while being under a very strict time constraint. I was not only able to get the work in before it was due, but excelled at it as well. I was able to strengthen my adaptability and analytical skills, to help me think outside of the box to solve problems, while still working in a team!
