As a small NFP organisation, I had a broad range of responsibilities, which have included:• Managing the Access Inc website and social media campaigns. Redesigning and refreshing the Access Inc website and introducing Instagram with 700 followers in the first year• Moved Access Inc across to a new email system, to improve the efficiency of the organisation and better support the organisations growing needs• Organised numerous successful Charidy fundraising campaigns, raising ~75% of Access Inc’s operating budget each year• Recruited and managed a growing team of staff and volunteers• Designed & executed a Pop-Up Café in a 2 month period, which was fully booked and met all participant goals• Managed and collated the billing details for all attendees across all programs, in-line with NDIS requirements to minimise revenue leakage. Improved the billing process by creating excel spreadsheets to collate and calculate details• Improved the volunteer process by moving all forms online in particular the police check process improving the efficiency of the process, and introducing an exit interview

Matched volunteers to the right role, by understanding their motivation, interests, skills and restrictions while simultaneously understanding the business’ needs. This involved a variety of ongoing and one-off initiatives, including:• Recruiting over 100 new volunteers in a 12 month period. Interviewing volunteers, promoting Jewish Care (often cross promoting different services), performing background checks and identifying the best fit for the volunteer and the organisation• Organising and presenting at training and orientation sessions for volunteers. This provided the volunteers with additional tools to assist them in their roles and in turn provide a higher level of service to our clients• Introducing regular email updates, a Facebook group, SMS communications and various face-to-face events, to ensure all 450 volunteers felt supported and connected to the organisation• Liaising with Jewish Care staff and created effective working relationships to promote volunteering within the organisation. Increased volunteer opportunities, such that over 60 staff were managing volunteers• Managing a group of 7 volunteers personally, most of whom had intellectual disabilities and/or mental health issues which required extra attention, support and encouragement. Having the opportunity to develop these volunteers and watch them grow and build friendships among themselves was one of the most rewarding experiences
