I started with Good Shepherd Microfinance in May 2013, as a trainee, studying a Cert III in Business Administration with APlus Apprentice and Trainee Services. I accomplished 12 units whilst completing full time work experience at GSM. I finished my course in 12 months and fortunately was officially offered a job with the organisation I had come to know very well and feel a part of. As my first ever job, I feel so lucky to have started my career in such an inspiring place. After just shy of 4 years, it was time to move on.After Good Shepherd I had the pleasure of working for an amazing family business, Consolidated Property Services, a well-known and reputable cleaning company servicing many sites in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.Even if this was for a short time, I picked up a range of new skills, adapted to the different clientele well and implemented my sound administrative skills. I was able to manage tasks independently with enthusiasm and all in all, it was a great learning experience.2018 came with a big change and I joined an extremeley prestigious law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, as a Corporate Receptionist. Bringing my skills to the Melbourne Client Services team and experiencing the corporate world for the first time. I have cemented my role as front of house and I have built key relationships with a diverse range of people. Delving into events management, technology, video conferencing and evolving my people skills, what an amazing oppurtunity this has turned out to be. In May of 2021 I was approached with an incredible opportunity to join the Learning and Development team within HSF and after 2 successful interviews was officially offered the job. My role is Learning and Development Coordinator for Melbourne and I join a national and global team working to design and deliver learning content for all lawyers at each level to upskill.
