I have worked for communications and digital marketing agencies for the past 14 years, giving me a strong background in managing projects, digital strategies, omnichannel marketing, communications challenges, and budgets. Throughout this time I have had the privilege to work with a wide range of teams and companies - from Patient Organisations, healthcare specialists, futurists, and trends analysts to film crews, paid media teams, and incredible content and copywriters. As you can tell from the highlighted interactions above, the pharma space has carved a special place in my heart - what I love about the healthcare industry is working with people who are motivated by compassion and are brave enough to believe in change. When I started getting involved with local teams on disease-area campaigns, I realised two things: 1. There’s a lack of awareness around certain disease areas and an understanding of the importance of prevention 2. There’s a huge gap between those who research and develop cures and those who allocate funds to get these to the people who need them most. In an increasingly challenging healthcare environment, we should close the knowledge gap as well as collaborate across borders and industries. It shouldn’t be a question of R&D vs Policy, but rather a passionate drive toward "PPP for P" -> public-private partnerships for patients. Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, and taking on the next challenge. Usually, I am doing these things with friends and family.
