Client Consultation:- Working with end-user clients to optimally use the Neuradiant 1070 photobiomodulation (PBM) device.- Working with NFL and UFC athletes to guide device use.- Explaining the science behind photobiomodulation, and its therapeutic applications.- Collaborating with a team for client qEEG analysis to help guide protocol development.Sales and Marketing:- Contributing to pre-sales calls with clinicians and providers to discuss the science of PBM, clinical integration and protocol development.- Condensing information on PBM and certain conditions into flyers and brochures for the public to be used at conferences, events and other sales/marketing initiatives.- Educating affiliates and influencers on device use.Education:- Creating and developing educational classes and materials, such as the Neuronic Masterclass and provider handbooks.- Creating educational videos describing the outcomes of research papers, and addressing different uses of the Neuradiant 1070.- Creating internal educational resources for applications of PBM.- Presenting at discussion rounds, care homes, and podcasts on PBM related topics.Research:- Involved in running sessions with research participants assessing the use of PBM in mild cognitive impairment.- Collaborating with team members to create case study reports on clients using pre- and post-qEEG reports.

Client Care:-Establishing rapport and directly interacting with clients of various age groups (5-90 years of age) with varying mental health and neurological conditions (ADHD, ASD, OCD, GAD, MDD, mTBI, etc.)-Liaising with doctors, counsellors, and other health care professionals to discus client treatment.-Routinely checking in with clients to track progress and updating their files accordingly.Neurofeedback:-Administering Default Network Training (DNT) and Infra-low Frequency (ILF) neurofeedback therapy using various softwares (Bioexplorer, Cygnet) and devices (Neuroamp II).-Preparing EEG electrodes on client using the 10-20 System with respect to varying Broadman Areas.-Suggesting amendments for client treatment plans to healthcare professionals based on client progress.-Updating and editing Excel spreadsheets in conjunction with client progress.Brain Mapping:-Conducting brain maps on clients via EEG caps and software (Discovery and Mitsar).-Analyzing EEG results from brain maps, removing artifacts (ex. muscle tension, popped electrodes, sweat, movement).-Creating protocols based on brain map results.TMS:-Conducting Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) using Brainsway Deep TMS device on patients suffering from varying mental health conditions, by initially assessing their motor threshold and creating their treatment plan accordingly.-Administering self-assesments such as Beck's Depression Inventory to indicate progress and informing doctors of any notable changes.Photobiomodulation (PBM):-Administering PBM to clients based on clinical protocols, using the Neuronic tPBM device. Research:-Conducting literature reviews on the topic of the treatment of PTSD in veterans and first responders using neurofeedback, photobiomodulation (PBM), TMS, and biofeedback.

The Tang Lab is focused on diabetes translational research in high risk and medically underserved communities, and creating peer support models to improve long-term diabetes management, especially diabetes distress. -Contacting and orienting program participants through the T1D REACHOUT App, designed to provide mental health care for type 1 diabetics in rural British Columbia. -Administering monthly treatment fidelity surveys via REDCap-Facilitating monthly T1D Huddle meetings for participants. -Contacting health authorities for recruitment of subjects for studies-Implementing idea for monthly discussion groups among study participants.
