Currently working within a residential care setting in Ysgol Rhydygors, providing opportunities for pupils and teaching them life skills. Implementing sporting practises within the school settings and engaging a nutritional development into their daily lives.

My role as a Head Coach for Carmarthenshire Local Authority (L.A) Netball enables me to hep develop and progress the players as far as they can to the performing and elite stage. The training is once a month from September to July including tournaments through the season. The opportunity enables me to broaden my knowledge and experience so that I can become a better coach. I am able to advance my coaching skills and adapt coaching theories to my session.

I had the responsibility of overseeing the junior programme in Llanelli Leisure Centre, ensuring we could provide young children with plenty of opportunities through their physical literacy journey. My responsibilities were to plan and organise the Actif Club holiday programme, the weekly running of the new Junior Actif Passport Programme and birthday parties within the facility. Whilst mentoring and organising staff and budgeting of the programs and income.

The purpose of a Dragon Sport Mentor is to support the provision of extra-curricular Dragon Sport clubs within schools and the community. Dragon Sports mentors have the responsibility to take coaching sessions for a variety of different sports and supporting the dragon sports multi skills resources, either delivering at the leisure centre or delivering at local schools in the community. Within this role, I am able to be hands on with a number of different schools in the area and gain a school environmental experience whilst being able to help develop sport in higher education.

I was based as an Explore and Learn Officer on work placement based in Carmarthenshire. During this placement, I would be experiencing 14 hours per week in a work environment working with children from the ages between 0-7. Having a mentor to guide me through this process, I was acting as a Active Young People's Explore and Learn officer. I had been involved on a number of different projects and schemes listed below. Taking every opportunity to gain experience, new knowledge and use my strengths where possible. Sgiliau is a private organisation that has been founded by Steffan Hughes, that engages children to participate within sport. The organisation run clubs during holiday breaks in a number of different areas in Carmarthenshrie. Sgiliau provides children with the opportunity to be able to participate and have new experiences in sport.Sgiliau bach is a scheme for children aged 3-7 to be engaged in physical activity to develop their skills, such as; balancing, catching, kicking, striking an object and engaging with others.
