This position provides direct leadership to the Employee Experience Team with a payroll focus. This position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position provides excellent customer service and executes a quality payroll administration program for the entire organization. Continually investigates newprograms, improves existing programs, and supervises and monitors payroll administration and makes recommendations to leadership. This position leads the Employee Experience efforts within the organization to solidify Rosecrance as the Employer of Choice.

• Managed all insurance benefits and deductions for employees• Was in charge of business insurance and worker’s compensation claims and annual renewals• Posted job openings and screened resumes sending the relevant ones to the appropriate supervisors• Assisted in interviewing and hiring for three smaller companies• Assisted in firing when necessary for all companies• Was in charge of risk management for all companies• Kept up to date on changes in state and federal laws to make sure all companies were compliant • Kept job descriptions and company handbooks up to date and compliant• Processed bi-weekly payroll for ten companies totaling approximately 600 employees in both Illinois and Florida• Filed payroll taxes bi-weekly and quarterly taxes at the end of each quarter• Processed W-2’s and ACA Reports for all ten companies every January• Managed the accounts receivable & accounts payable for a small tool companies
