My PassionI love every aspect of traveling, from researching a trip, creating an itinerary, making all necessary reservations to being at the airport and the experience of arriving at my destination and melting into the culture and people there.I also love planning trips for others so they can experience travel with the same passion I do. I currently do this for all my family and friends at no charge. My ultimate goal is for them to not only enjoy their time away, but to see travel as a life altering experience. I want them to really embrace the destination and the culture of the place with the mindset that this is “home” for a short period of time. Because home is where the heart is. I believe I achieve this by taking all the headaches out of travel. First, we discuss their budget and how much they are willing to spend on their experience. Next, I assess their travel style by asking questions about the kind of activities they like to do—adventurous, curious or easygoing. Also what type of food they like/dislike. Then I research the area and talk to locals to find out their favorite spots, hangouts, restaurants, etc. I dig for any tips I can get from them to make it a great experience. After I’ve gathered all this information, I create the itinerary for them based on their preferences.
