I am currently chief retail officer and chief people officer for Merrimack Valley Credit Union. As chief retail officer, I lead the credit union’s retail banking, corporate communications, community relations, marketing and business development departments, facilitating company growth and ensuring that members’ needs are at the forefront while they receive excellent service. As chief people officer, I lead the credit union’s human resources and organizational development departments which offer employees supportive benefits and opportunities to learn, grow and develop professionally. “I know that the decisions that I’m making every day impact our staff’s lives and our member’s lives and that matters,” I say. “Any touchpoint to our people, whether it is members or staff, is a responsibility that I don’t take for granted.”My focus each day is to ensure we are providing outstanding service to each Credit Union member, while upholding the safety and soundness of the Credit Union for all of our nearly 115,000 member-owners.I work consultatively with senior management to evaluate and optimize MVCU’s operating performance, maintain a healthy working environment and achieve our financial goals. I oversee efforts to develop business, increase productivity, market penetration and levels of product usage, and identify and implement new products and services. I am passionate about the social mission of credit unions to help improve the lives of the people we serve.I give consistent strategic consideration to ensure an outstanding experience for members throughout all their life stages, whether they seek solutions for their evolving savings or borrowing needs, would like options to consider for their retirement, or are looking for their first car loan. I continually evaluate how to fine tune the way members interface with the Credit Union throughout whatever service delivery method that they choose to use. I have served on the Board of Directors of various organizations representing a cross-section of industries, which has helped deepen my executive experience. I have 30+ years of corporate leadership experience with demonstrated ability to combine visionary, strategic, and tactical financial expertise to produce bottom-line results and financial strength. I graduated from Suffolk University Law School with a Juris Doctor degree (Magna Cum Laude) and continues to practice law, specializing in Business Planning, Estate Planning and Asset Protection.
