•Crain Cares, a national philanthropy program. Manage the Crain employee run philanthropy programs. Facilitate employee led-philanthropy initiates in strong families, community, pet rescue and homelessness in Crain’s major markets (Detroit, NY, Chicago, San Francisco, Ohio and Europe) as well as the two national charities, United Way and the American Cancer Society. Oversee all employee champions for each nonprofit, making recommendations and keeping leaders on track to meet their quarterly goals for the Social Impact Scorecard, which is a metric used to gauge and improve employee contributions and engagement. •Spark Sessions, a collaborative employee development initiative. Created and launched the Spark Sessions. Manage six functional two-day meetings that bring employees together to learn about trends, from outside speakers and from each other so they refine and improve their functional expertise. Facilitate all logistics and budget along with speaker management and employee engagement. •Town Halls, company-wide communication platform. Manage two, five-state all-hands meetings that convey the corporate vision, strategies and progress to all employees. Work to better open the communication with employees and the management team. •Support international employee communications including InsideCrain, a monthly employee e-publication and Crain>Next, a monthly employee newsletter. Determining stories and collecting information from employees on the latest projects within their publications.
