• Provide oversight of cost accountants, while leading continuous improvement of the accounting department’s standard operating procedures. • Assist in period-end processes including monthly bank reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and project audits.

• Responsible for all cost related tasks on the Encinal Park project, XL Construction’s largest construction project totaling $253M

• Responsible for the troubleshooting all Vista related issues • Responsible for the development and upkeep of the Vista job aids • Work directly with internal project teams to develop project management best practices• Conduct company wide XLU classes for Vista's Change Management & Accounting Processes

• Compile 40+ client billings each month • Responsible for tracking job cost and subcontractor commitments for 40+ projects • Work collaboratively with project teams to review and approve vendor payment applications • Manage contractual risks through synchronization of documents (i.e. lien waivers, prelim notices, insurance documentation)

• Prepare and perform check runs for all vendors • Manage the early payment discount program for all participating vendors• Responsible for the coding and processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and check requests

• Audit individual tax returns for completeness and accuracy in regard to the IRC • Correspond with taxpayers to resolve audit issues, and assess any applicable fines and penalties • Primary cases worked: Alimony, Schedule A deductions, Dependency Exemptions, the Earned Income Credit, and Education Credits
