Behind every successful person, there is a great teacher. I aspire to be that for my students. My drive to become a teacher started with me helping in my mother's classroom as a child. I continue to hold on to the passion for education and for mentoring young minds. Through my experience as a high school special education teacher, I have learned to be flexible and adaptive. I have discovered the challenges that students with special needs face in the classroom and their need for a teacher who cares about them holistically.
