I go to the University of Delaware and with my degree, I am ecstatic to be able to use my strengths of creativity, verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, and strategic problem-solving abilities in an internship this summer and eventually when I graduate in May of 2025.I was a hostess at Varka Restaurant in Ramsey, NJ which is one of the most well-known and high-end restaurants in the Bergen County area. My job was to provide top customer service and ensure each guest felt a warm welcome. Over the course of the job, my advanced social skills were pronounced with sparking conversation with customers, multi-tasking during busy times, and problem-solving during mix-ups. On top of being a hostess at the restaurant, I ran their social media account by posting exquisite pictures or stories of their ambiance and food.
