Held the position as an Admissions Representative for a short period as Corinthian Colleges Closed the doors on April 27th 2015.

Grand Canyon University provides a private premier education for both the High School Student and the Adult Learner. GCU offers challenging programs that employers are hiring for, and GCU employs faculty members who are well-verse in their area of expertise to instruct the Students. While serving the Student population I wore several hats, and acquired many transferable skills while working in both the Online and Ground Traditional modalities. Such as: Managing a local and remote territory simultaneously to recruit Students, conducted presentations highlighting the benefits of GCU for small (5-30) and large (100-300) groups of diverse people, developed relationships with faculty and staff, organized and strategized marketing events for each High School, participated in yearly College Fairs, scheduled private and personalized family tours of the 100+ acre campus, advised High School Students on programs of interest and potential career paths, analyzed transfer credits, customized class schedules, educated families with responsible borrowing when utilizing Financial Aid, presented all financial options, and displayed transparency with every transaction. While I was working online I made several contacts a day reaching out to degree seeking Students. I assisted several Nursing and Health Care Professionals with the Online platform, and provided support anyway possible to ensure they were comfortable with the learning model. Yes, I have done a lot, but team work was also very essential. It is important for me to work with high functioning individuals who enjoy working for a common goal. In doing so, it creates a positive environment of success, and wonderful synergy. I absolutely appreciated the time that I worked for GCU, so departing was for personal reasons.

I was a part time personal assistant for an Insurance agent contracted by Allstate Insurance, while I was a full time student preparing for Nursing school. I took phone calls and assumed as gate keeper. I scheduled client appointments, scheduled office employees and kept up with my agents personal agenda. Maintained filling and ensured proper documentation was all accounted for, reached out to past due accounts, and sent out renewal reminders. My agent decided to sell the business after 20+ years of service and sold in late fall of 2010.

I worked with a team of independent contractors walking door to door promoting windshield repair for vehicles with glass damage. As a preferred vendor for most insurance companies I was able to assist clients with this service. I would conduct a 3 way call to verify coverage for the client and schedule the installation. With creative marketing and providing timely service I was able to build a loyal client base to establish a flexible schedule for school, and to prevent from working outside during the hot summer months! I departed due to safety reasons.

Working as a Poker/ Black Jack dealer you are entertaining guests in a fast pace environment, while conducting large monetary transactions. I dealt various poker games such as: Texas Hold'em 3-6; 4-8; and no limit, Omaha Hi/Lo 4-8 , Seven card Stud Hi/Lo, Crazy Pineapple, nightly poker Tournaments, and Black Jack. I was mainly self taught and mentored, no formal schooling was necessary. I departed so I could focus on my education.

Who doesn't love a friendly environment, quick service and a good tasting burger?! I am proud to say that In-N-Out was my first job, as I absolutely enjoyed it! As an Associate I was able to provide a cheerful welcoming atmosphere for our customers leaving them happy and satisfied! It's truly all about the Customer experience and focusing on quality when working for In-N-Out . I thrived when interacting with the customers, and was recognized by the Quality Control Manager for my dedication for creating a positive customer experience. In-N-out provided a great working foundation in a very fast pace environment. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean! I departed to focus on my last few months of my senior year of High School and to travel before college.
