2003-2004 Iraq Deployment with the 229th Military Police Company. Convoy support, EPW prison guard and base security. Certified U.S. Customs Agent in Kuwait clearing personnel and equipment to re-enter the United States. Training NCO- Executed the launch of the 266th Military Police Company in Manassas Virginia, creating a policy driven organizational system out of scarce resources which formed a base of operations for the Company, enabling manpower to increase from a core of five soldiers to a complete company of over 200 soldiers with two additional branches in Staunton and Harrisonburg Virginia. Effectively led the Business Services Team which included the management of eleven remote staff and the national expansion of all education and placement programs for the non-profit, national military service organization of Inova Health System with the objective of connecting qualified military spouses, wounded warriors and their caregivers, Veterans, National Guard, Reserve and service members transitioning to civilian employment, with careers in healthcare.Team efforts led to servicing more than 1200 military spouses in the first year of coursework with 350 placements, increased Inova’s one-year retention rate for military personnel and new hires from 65% to 82%, and reduced the registered nurse vacancy rates from 15% to 3% in the first three years. Built strategic partnerships with employment partners, stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) and Healthcare networks. Established 144 partnerships in initial year, including the Department of Defense, Army Reserve Employment Partnership, Microsoft, Westcare Foundation, Maxim Government Services, and the National Healthcare Career Network.

Developed six week pre-employment curriculum with workshops, individualized employment plans, and occupational internships. Success of program led to incorporation within the operations of the Falls Church One-Stop employment center benefiting multiple programs across different funding streams. Progressed and expanded the National Identity Program, a project to train teachers and guidance counselors in a 12 week curriculum for Arab students that creates cultural identity exploration and formation to contribute to society and build self-esteem.
