Management of select Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) evaluations in partnership with the MA Department of Public Health. Evaluations focus primarily on 1) advancing health equity and family engagement, and 2) program capacity to leverage CQI as a means to address inequities in home visiting.

Developed and managed mixed-method evaluations to support state and federal- level interventions across the birth to five service system.

Data collection and project management for a clinical research study that examined the feasibility and effectiveness of ADHD Bootcamp, a behavioral intervention for parents of children with ADHD.

Conducted pre-k and kindergarten classroom observations using and the COP/TOP and Simple Interactions (SI) assessments to examine patterns of early learning and associated developmental outcomes across a range of educational settings.

Evaluated the implementation and effectiveness of Family Navigation as an intervention to address disparities in diagnostic resolution and service receipt for young children at risk for autism and other developmental disorders.

Developed and managed the evaluation of a learning tool intended to strengthen cognitive skills of children with attention disorders.

Lead a weekly discussion for an undergraduate writing course, Professional Communications in Human Development and Family Studies.

Extracted data for a chart review study to identify patterns of documentation around domestic violence exposure in the context of child protective services. Conducted research on a selection of adult and child level PTSD, behavioral and mental health, and trauma exposure assessments for an assessment repository. Co-authored poster and paper presentations for International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS; 2016, 2017, 2018).

Case management as a Home Visitor at Nurturing Families. Planned weekly home visits with prenatal and postpartum mothers through the implementation of an evidence-based curriculum. Conducted developmental screenings and health assessments including Ages&Stages Questionnaire, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (PDS), CAPI-R, and Community Life Skills Scale (CLS). Developed goals with families while presenting information on topics such as reading infant cues, attachment and child development. Measured goal attainment progress with families over length of involvement.

Conducted early childhood learning assessments with preschool children including WJ-III, PreLAS, REMA and puzzle completion motivation tasks.

Community outreach and collaboration with various community partners to plan and implement programs that increased the well being of the surrounding communities. Served as a member of the Community Based Research Committee and completed necessary forms and grant proposals to request funding for community partnerships.

Worked with children and families at Nassau University Medical Center to access and expand social services and other community resources. This position was in collaboration with NuHealth and Project DOCC, from Hofstra University’s Center for Civic Engagement.
