I am responsible for screening and interviewing candidates as well as developing, driving and executing comprehensive search strategies to source new candidates. I consult and partner with hiring managers on best practices in hiring, building effective teams and impacting the business in a positive way, in addition to managing relationships with vendors and agencies, and overseeing Brightcove’s recruiting events.

Improved site navigability to ease product search and ensure a positive customer experience. Built, maintained, and enhanced the global product catalog across all Wayfair brands. Optimized searchability by reclassifying and consolidating SKUs, creating merchandising packages and product attributes, and mapping product schemas. Communicated interdepartmentally in order to troubleshoot, resolve and correct errors onsite. Audited the work of fellow team members and reviewed weekly reports for accuracy.

Constructed a pilot algae-growing apparatus and continually refined to create a more efficient, controllable, state-of-the-art system. Analyzed and compiled extensive data to direct the optimization of algae growth conditions and prepared formal reports relaying results. Finally, presented results and made recommendations to improve experimental replicability and growing efficiency.

Responsible for developing a tailored methodology to collect and record data regarding wildlife mortalities. Analyzed data using SPSS software and plotted all wildlife mortalities, surrounding land use, and relevant geographical features using GIS mapping technology. Prepared and delivered a formal presentation of findings and concrete recommendations to several members of the Tanzanian National Parks Association. Finally, collaborated with field experts to submit a formal scientific paper to the South African Journal of Wildlife Research.
