I've been a bookworm with the travel bug my whole life (insect metaphors end here, promise). Although I've now lived in three countries, on three different continents, those passions always come with me. We're a package deal.My professional career has been focused on literature and education since day one. I feel especially driven to provide fun yet productive extracurricular learning opportunities for young minds, so getting my Master's in Library and Information Science with a specialization in Youth Services was a no-brainer. Throughout my moves, I've applied those skills to public and cultural center libraries in Germany, book fairs in South Carolina, after-school activities at schools and libraries in Illinois, and even on the vendor side of things back when I worked at a library tech start-up.Since 2018, I've also built a lovely community of folks living abroad through my podcast, The Expat Cast. Over 175 episodes deep, I've interviewed hundreds of expats about the highs and lows of life abroad. I've expanded my interviewing and hosting abilities to include in-person and online events, and I love connecting with the community over social media.
