- Leading Tajikistan component of a global project on “Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Agrarian Landscapes” and a regional program on “Sustainable and Climate Sensitive Land Use for Economic Development in Central Asia”;- Planning and implementing project cycles in coordination with the global and regional teams, including monitoring, evaluation and research as well as reporting on project results;- Strengthening partnerships with relevant actors including EU, FAO, IFAD, WFP and national bodies, and representing the projects at conferences and meetings;- Engaging with donors, e.g. acquired additional project funds, coordinating with the NDC Partnership and writing of funding proposals for the International Climate Initiative (IKI) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF);- Developed a regional conceptual framework on integrative land use management approaches and documented best practises in forest-, pasture-, and wildlife management as well as on agrobiodiversity on the PANORAMA Platform;- Co-authored numerous policy briefs on sustainable land use, agro-biodiversity and climate change impacts on agriculture, health and transport systems;- Co-chairing a GIZ working group on the implementation of the Agenda 2030 in Tajikistan.

- Advising on sustainable and climate adapted land use practises in the framework of a global project on “Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Agrarian Landscapes” and a regional program on “Sustainable and Climate Sensitive Land Use for Economic Development in CA;- Supported the project manager in the project cycle management including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;- Collected lessons learnt on biodiversity enhancing land use practices, as well as on forest- and pasture management;- Supported the development of a national Pasture Management Platform in cooperation with IFAD, FAO, ACTED, and EU;- Developed and tested micro finance instruments in cooperation with the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) leading to the out-scaling of climate change adaptation measures.

- Supported two projects on “Sustainable Forest Management in Tajikistan” and “Ecosystem-based Adaptation to Climate Change in high Mountainous regions in Central Asia”;- Collected data on forest rehabilitation and climate change adaptation measures;Documented lessons learnt on forest- and pasture management.
