As an OAS I, I partner with Account Executives/Underwriters to establish support needs for renewals and/or new business policies. This support includes preparing documents, pricing exhibits, proposals and reinsurance contracts. I also communicate with brokers in order to ensure our customers are receiving policies that best fit their businesses needs.

As an Underwriting Associate, I complete annual accounting packages for Aetna's National Account, Middle Market, and Public and Labor sectors. These annual accounting packages assess the customer's risk and break out their yearly fees, programs, expenses/charges, and budgets. In being an Underwriting Associate, I've been able to take on a variety of opportunities to grow as an employee. I have trained field members on the Underwriting Associate job function virtually and in person, aided in the development of new hires on my team, and have co-planned organization-wide events. I truly enjoy the challenge of this job and plan to continue to create goals for myself that push me to work harder each year.

I was chosen by my organization to participate in the ABX/Lean Management Business System Deployment. I was the Business Change Agent for the Commercial Business Accounting Team, and through this role I was able to learn virtually and hands on about the Lean Management System and Six Sigma. This was completed through a Design, Diagnose, and Implement wave. In this role I was able to collaborate with and coach directors about this new business system.

As a member of the JRCSD Data Analysis Team, I worked with my colleagues to analyze, interpret, and set goals based upon data we received in order to set the JRCSD on a course for competitive Competency Based Learning Education.

Throughout my time at JRCSD, I was able to teach a wide variety of math topics through problem solving and logical thinking. I challenged students to take a closer look at the world around them through a mathematical lens.

I have been a private tutor for five clients in my time at Keene State College. The content of the work I tutored my clients in ranged from eight grade mathematics, to high school geometry, to PSAT prep.
