Lead support for funding applications by the Faculty of Education's faculty members, offering editorial and strategic feedback and guidance in the pre-award phase. Additionally, working alongside the Faculty's Director of Research to develop and oversee the Faculty of Education’s profile of funding for research. This includes: seeking out and establishing contacts with funders and contractors; assisting in identifying and applying for research and contract funding from Canadian and international funding agencies, private foundations, industry, and federal and provincial ministries and offices; analyzing the Faculty’s resource needs for current and prospective research projects; and articulating future funding opportunities to Faculty research interests.

Provided support to Indigenous scholars and Indigenous research projects for finding, obtaining, and maintaining research funding, which included the navigation of internal and external institutional processes and the advocation for Indigenous ways of knowing, doing, being, and connecting within application processes, research conception, and knowledge mobilization.Please note: position title was initially "Research Grant Officer".

Worked alongside the Canada Research Chair in Culture & Public Memory to support the research cluster Museum Queeries within the international Thinking Through The Museum (TTTM) Research Network, which was funded by a SSHRC Partnership Development Grant (2015-18) and, now, a SSHRC Partnership Grant (2021-27)
