• Compared and researched articles, papers, and previously acquired data with regard to stenosis in the carotid artery. • Used sound bytes and acquired data values including elasticity, mean arterial pressure, and the fluid flow rate to establish a baseline condition representing a partially obstructed carotid artery. • Used the baseline parameters and fundamental theoretical equations for fluid flow, system pressure, and viscosity to create comprehensive MATLAB code which allows the user to input a sound sample for testing. • Reviewed outputs from MATLAB code to examine variations from the baseline case and verify theoretical data previously acquired.
