Nicole Samodol is the Managing Director of Rowlee Wines, based in Orange NSW.Creative and entrepreneurial, Nicole identified a niche in the local market for a customer-focussed boutique brand. In 2017 she began the transformation of Rowlee from grape growing into a direct to customer wine business.Nicole’s new take on the traditional cellar door experience raised the bar in the Orange Wine Region, offering domestic and international visitors bookable wine experiences, high end service and a program of bespoke events.Prior to establishing Rowlee’s direct to customer business, Nicole had a 17-year corporate career specialising in the development and implementation of strategy and business transformation. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business majoring in tourism and hospitality.Nicole has served as a committee member and chair of Orange Region Vignerons’ Association and the NSW Wine Industry Association Export and Regional Support Package Committee. She is the current Vice President (Promotions) of NSW Wine, a role focussed on the promotion and marketing of wine and wine tourism across NSW’s 16 wine regions.
