As a level 1 EAP trained volunteer, I volunteer to work with wounded warriors by designing activities that encourage trust, communication, and self-awareness. I ensure sessions are safe and effective and work closely with the client to use eye contact, body language, observation and knowledge.

As a Building Resiliency for Healthy Kids Coach I worked with children to enhance their ability to cope with stress, overcome challenges, and thrive in various aspects of life. Through one-on-one coaching sessions, I empowered children to build strong emotional and mental well-being and resilience. I partnered with over 60 children seeking self-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness and, thereby, enhance well-being. I displayed unconditional positive regard for children and a belief in their capacity for change, while ensuring that all interactions were respectful and non-judgmental. I used knowledge of strategies for improving resilience, self-efficacy, and well-being, in addition to a knowledge base in behavior change, motivation, and coaching theory, models, approaches, and techniques.
