During my time as a student in La Sorbonne, I served as an online correspondent for the French national TV channel publication Ma Chaîne Étudiante, where I offered American perspective on current events. (Articles were published in French.) I covered the death of Osama Bin Laden, the banning of cigarettes in New York parks, the DSK scandal, the controversy in France around opening commercial stores on Sunday, amongst other topics. I also shared my musings on French culture and lifestyle in my blog, "Another American in Paris"

Managed internal employee communications, primarily regarding benefits programs, including but not limited to: monthly newsletter, targeted marketing campaigns, web content, print materials, corporate videos and surveys. During my time with the company I was also integral in working to transition to new online media and played a central role in our re-branding initiative and communications strategy.

In collaboration with other members of the Colorado State University Student Media group I worked to create this monthly news magazine, originally called 1870*. Along with another editor, I managed the editing, marketing, advertising and creative content for the inaugural issue and set up an infrastructure that has allowed this magazine to continue to this day as an established member of the CSU Student Media group.

Beginning as a reporter and Student Media scholarship recipient, I worked in various roles for this daily student newspaper throughout my college career. In addition to reporting, I also held positions as Entertainment Editor, Features Managing Editor and Development Editor, gaining valuable experience in newspaper writing, copy-editing, design, and management. I was recognized by various organizations in the Colorado area on several occasions for both writing and design, including the Society of Professional Journalists and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
