As a Communications Manager at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, I contributed to the development and execution of strategic communications plans, media relations, social media strategy, and internal and external communications. I also facilitated and managed various community sponsorships and partnerships, leveraging my strong network and relationship-building skills.I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a TESOL/TESL certification from Oxford Seminars. My passion for customer success, marketing, and communications stems from my background in local journalism, community nonprofit organizations, and grassroots organizing and fundraising. I have worked with diverse and dynamic groups, such as Secret East, The Gathering Place, Out Of Earshot Festival of Music and Art, and St. John's International Women's Film Festival, adapting to ever-changing situations and delivering consistent and impactful results.
