Overall responsible person for promoting, growing and running of the business on a day to day basis, whilst ensuring an excellent level of customer service is provided throughout.This role included:• Responsible key holder.• One of 3 Licensees registered to the Bolton Arms.• Advertising, planning and taking part in all promotional events.• Managing all aspects of the bar such as, stock levels, negotiating supplier contracts, setting goals and budgets.• Responsible for all financial transactions.• Overseeing all reservations.• Maintaining the company website and social media pages.• Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to all customers in every aspect of the business. • Ensuring licenses are updated and are in line with current legislation.• Sourcing of all new entertainment.• Handling and resolving customer complaints.Key Achievements:• Advertising Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve functions resulting in both events reaching full capacity every year.• Supporting various charitable foundations by running auction and quiz nights for amongst others The Sliver Line Charity, Brittle Bones Disease and Cancer Research. • Supporting the Head Chef to create and launch new menus on a quarterly basis. • Introducing a wine tasting event to the annual event calendar.• Initiating, planning and hosting the first Halloween party resulting in requests from customers for this to become a regular annual event.• Designing new beer mats in with the Bolton Arms brand.• Creating the Bolton Arms Facebook and Twitter page.• Organising and running a professional photoshoot and utilising the results as a successful marketing tool. • Introducing a new gin list and cocktail of the month scheme resulting in an increase in demand and profits.

This role included:• Managing Sales Leads via Direct Marketing.• Hosting open days at Care homes to increase sales and ensure customer demands met.• Creating initial design and approving proof of artwork for all marketing material.• Designing and advertising for Event Management adhering to all company brand guidelines.• Maintaining Digital Social Media and company website. • Collating and preparing Quarterly Marketing Plans.• Managing press releases including photography.• Negotiating with Sales Representative and agreeing advertisements contacts.Key Achievements:• Organising the first opening day for a new care home. • Creating a new structure of marketing plans for 11 care homes.• Introducing and writing monthly news articles for each care home which included past and future events.• Working in the marketing team to create a more modern, user friendly website.
