As the Director of Safety at Camp Southwoods,My role includes teaching American Red Cross classes, such as Lifeguarding, CPR/First Aid for Professional Rescuers, and Wilderness First Aid. As well as overseeing daily operations with a safety-first mindset, focusing on high-risk activities, including waterfront supervision, waterskiing, rock climbing, and high and low ropes courses. My responsibilities extend to being part of the leadership team, managing a group of young adult staff to provide a fun and safe summer camp experience. My goal is to maintain a safe and engaging environment that supports both staff and campers in our unique sleep-away camp setting.

Teach AHA CPR Classes to include, BLS & Heartsaver CPR/ FA.

As a Ski Patroller, I ensure the safety and well-being of mountain staff and guests. My role involves responding to on-mountain emergencies and injuries, providing EMR-level care with OEC certification. I am responsible for the initial treatment, triaging, transporting, and packaging of patients as needed. Additionally, I conduct rescue operations, monitor ski areas for hazards, and maintain safety compliance on the slopes.

I Teach Private Swim Lessons to Families who reach out to me for lessons and have access to a pool. In my swim lessons I prioritize water safety as well as the clients swimming goal. My personal goal for all my lessons is to help clients stay safe when they are in and around any body of water! Water safety is key and I believe everyone should learn to swim!
