I’m an SF based trans woman, front/backend web developer, and experienced software engineer who’s eager to start a new career that will expand my knowledge of the industry and meet amazing new people. I’ve been working professionally for over two and a half years now, and have been writing code, developing web apps and other software since high school. I’m hoping to find an impactful new company where I can make a visible difference with what I do. I love talking with clients, coworkers, admin people and everyone else to create new tech that can change and modernize the industry.I am an experienced Javascript, C, Java, and Python software engineer capable working with devices and operating systems of all types (from Android devices to Red Hat Linux envs). I have spent over 2 and a half years now developing in Node.js, React.js, and AngularJS and have spent months running conversions between the two. I work on things from from front end page design, to general site routing and flow, to backend SQL queries and DB management. I have also worked extensively with the Flask web development and the creation and management of SQL databases. Also, I frequently work on front end web design using HTML and CSS. I have a strong ability to adapt and transition into new languages. I am skilled with a wide variety of software tools, such as Git and Github, Google’s G-Suite, Microsoft’s Office suite. Additionally, I have experience with JetBrains IDEs for Python and JavaThrough these diverse experiences, I have developed strong communication and team leadership skills.
