- Responsible for all of the accounting and monthly reporting surrounding the roughly 40 IT projects that are currently being undertaken at CNWL - Month end reporting for IT projects. This includes: • Monthly accruals• Monthly prepayments• Monthly reporting to Director of IT, Project Manager’s, and input into the reporting to the Finance Director• Monthly forecasting• Management of agency staff payments and accruals- Liaising with IT project managers for any ad hoc financial information they require- Management of agency staff payments and coding issues- Working with the IT Director to set up the 2013/14 capital budgets- Working with the IT project managers to set up a process to enable monthly reporting on their projects. This includes a tool to enable the project managers to forecast as well as be able to track monthly costs against budget.- Working through multiple coding issues

Responsibilities Include:- Work in progress calculations- Calculating monthly accruals - Calculating monthly prepayments- Payroll journals- Bank statement coding- Monthly depreciation calculations- Bank reconciliations- Management reports for individual teams- Tracking key performance indicators for individual consultants- Client analysis- Compiling the monthly board pack- Balance sheet reconciliations- Coding of credit card statements- Invoice coding- VAT calculations and payment- PAYE calculations and payment- Running of staff payroll for UK, Hong Kong and Singapore branches. This includes commission calculations and pension contributions.- Singapore employee tax obligations- Working with Singapore auditors on Singapore branch accounts- UK employer and employee tax obligations- Journal entry and review- Commission calculations- Working with outsourcing providers to set up functions transferred to them

Responsibilities include:- Working with the external auditors to gather the required information as part of the annual audit of HCA UK group- Working with the HCA USA internal auditors to gather the required information as part of their annual audit of HCA UK group - Documenting systems, and making control recommendations to newly acquired entities- Supervising a junior - Fraud investigation- Sarbanes Oxley Act compliance- Testing and ensuring compliance with company policies and controls- Bribery Act compliance - Investigating any internal problems raised staff, and finding solutions to them.

Responsibilities include:• Audit planning and identification and testing of key activities and risk assessments• fraud risk assessment• Testing of financial models and assumptions• Verification of compliance with NZ IFRS standards and advising of upcoming changes• Audit of group consolidations and elimination of inter-company transactions• Testing of statement of service performance measures and data collection systems (non-financial)• Documenting and testing of the following systems:• Revenueo Rateso Government grantso Electricity lines revenueo Aviation – aircraft landing and personal departure chargeso Rentals, leases, concessions and cost recovery both as leaser and lesseeo Sales and progress payments o Work in Progress (WIP) systems for contracting companies• Expenditure and procurement o Capital and operating expenditure and repairs and maintenanceo Areas of sensitive expenditureo Payroll• Legislative compliance• Inventory management and valuation• Tendering• Performance reporting (non-financial data collection and reporting)• Testing of year end account balances based on risk assessments and work plans• Trend and variance analysis• Review of revaluation of infrastructural and operational assets• Review of impairment assessments• Review of term debt and interest rate swaps• Review of budgeting process and systems • Management of client relationships and conducting final client sign-off• Drafting of Client and Partner management reports, includingo Recommendations to improve internal controlso Upcoming changes in accounting standards or legislation that may affect their businesso Any problems found in the auditing of financial statements and non financial performance disclosures• Long-term plan (including financial models and non-financial performance measures)• Supervising juniors on Audits engagements (systems review) including workload delegation and mentoring for teams of up to four members
