I joined TDC as the Manager of Property Services and Client Representative and now as General Manager Property, my role which hasn't changed much but responsibility at a senior level isto: Provide strategic and operational Senior Leadership in relation to the management of theCouncil’s property assets (land, buildings and other improvements) and activities,where managed by the Property Team, in line with the strategic and operationalobjectives of Council; Act as principal advisor on property and land matters; Provide leadership for the members of the Property Team, with five direct reports and team of multidiscipline external reports; Provide assurance that Council’s property assets are being effectively and efficientlymaintained and managed in accordance with good industry practice, are fit forpurpose, represent value for money, and that the use and benefit of those assets arepromoted and maximised;  Ensure systems and processes within the Property Team are fit for purpose, efficientand customer focused; Ensure internal and external leases and tenancies are managed in accordance withrelevant agreements and standards of service; Provide advice and support to other business units (Land Transport Unit, Waterand Drainage, Parks and other related departments) in relation to property matters; Act as ‘Client Representative’ for major capital projects for the organisation, currently a$57.1M Theatre Royal Upgrade and Heritage Facility project, a $25M refurb of new Multi-Use Sports Stadium and a Seismic Upgrade of the Aigantighe House Gallery for $3.4M.  Acting General Manager Commercial and Strategy for GM leave 2022/23
