I founded Manic Organic after working in West Africa with farmers looking for an alternative to conventional agriculture. I decided I needed more training, did an apprenticeship on an organic farm in NY, fell in love with the idea and started my own business the next year with no money, no land, no equipment and little experience. best thing I ever tried. 10 years of heart and soul building my skills, my community and education around healthy local food systems.
