Responsible for assisting Production Supervisor in leading all aspects of manufacturing operations.Own personal and team safety. Observe safety behaviors of all team members and assist supervisor in correcting undesirable actions. Follow necessary GMP,RDA and IOS regulations/guidelines.Manage the converting operating team. Primary operations interface to shift supervisor, converting manager and converting support engineers. Responsible for running converting operation competently and productively.Keep current log book on machine operations, troubleshooting and change overs.Manage machine downtime, log causes and minimize where necessary.Analyze and record production delays and take corrective action. Troubleshoot and adjustment of machines.Assist supervisor in managing quality control systems, monitoring compliance with procedures. Maintain quality standards for production by performing quality checks. Examine, test, and measure product utilizing gauges and instruments and recording where necessary.Monitored machine waste generation. Examine defects, waste and scrap causes, taking appropriate corrective action to minimize. Document production and quality reports, training, and production processes. Coordinate training of line leads, operators and new employees. Provide training plans as necessary.Assist supervisor with managing performance of employees and providing input on hourly performance reviews. Ensure product traceability. Assist with administrative tasks: raw material management, attendance record keeping, managing compliance to employee guidelines, etc.Assist maintenance and electrical personnel as necessary.Perform other duties accurately when directed to do so.

Managed all aspects of daily business including: hiring/dismissals of employees, scheduling, payroll, inventory, accounts payable/receivable, advertising, promotional accounts, etc.

Responsible for ensuring a quality product was shipped to retailers. Involved in the purchasing of raw materials for production.

Involved with clients for scheduling purposes and vendors for material purchasing. Accounts payable/receivable. Estimates. Book keeping.
