Conduct focus groups, interviews and other qualitative evaluations with agency clients to perform research assessments of program effectiveness and impact on youth.Write up and present results to various agency stakeholders including program staff, directors and board members.Attend internal, board and community meetings to gain insight into what it is like to run a mid-size youth and family service agency.Work directly with youth during Urban Arts program sessions, including facilitating social and emotional learning activities, co-leading youth art groups and engaging in individual conversations with youth.Plan Urban Arts program sessions, including collaborating with other staff to choose activities, organize the final showcase and discuss participant needs.

Evaluate all potentially credit-worthy documents as they arrive: college/military transcripts, standardized assessments, documentation of experiential learning and professional certificationsContinuously modify degree plans including but not limited to requested program changes, pace changes and application of additional creditUtilize internal systems to ensure degree plans are accurate and accessible on the Virtual Campus detailing courses to be taken as well as how all degree requirements will be fulfilledCounsel students on non-traditional methods of fulfilling degree requirementsActively participate in professional development at the departmental level by carrying out special projects as assigned and contributing proactively to the department’s efforts for continuous improvement

Provide information on visas, travel plans, immunizations, political climate, and policies for enrolled and prospective volunteersMaintain constant communication with in-country directors in nine countries to ensure the most up-to- date information regarding work assignments, internship coordination, and visa policiesDevelop spreadsheets reflecting flight itineraries and volunteer information for in-country staff Specialize in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania volunteer program with exceptional knowledge on the culture,government/political climate, tourist attractions, visas/CTA stamps, and immunizations Create and edit program specific and collateral materials such as various email templates and handbooks to improve quality of programmatic materials and ensure operational consistency Manage all pre-departure arrangements for over 100 Tanzania-bound participants, including leading dynamic conference calls to provide pre-departure information and disseminating all pertinent program details in a timely manner Proficient in CRM database and project management software to control, assign, and complete tasks
