I have worked on a multitude of projects ranging from green field development in South Ontario. I have also conducted baseline groundwater monitoring both in South Ontario and in BC. Teaching creative critical thinking of the world and histories is my key goal in every class I teach. I honed my customer service skills and professionalism through daily interactions with people of all ages and demographics. In order to best deliver course content I've had to become adept at instructing a variety of age levels and levels of understanding. I have also had to become very adaptable and flexible to suit program content to all abilities and to the resources I have available.

I've held this position for a number of years, always upholding the standards of inclusivity, accessibility and warmth that Parks and Recreation programs expect of their staff. I have mentored 10 brand new staff, some of which were just entering the workforce for their first time. I have maintained a high standard of work for myself and my staff, and have been recognized in my area of my efforts to uplift and train new employees. I believe that well being also encompasses mental wellbeing so I always strive to be both a professional and personal support to co-workers. Creating science experiments to teach the fundamentals of science for those ages 6-12. I created/ designed lesson plans as well as handouts to enhance the learning for both the participants and their parents. I introduced critical thinking and understanding in what was taught. This was in order to help develop the beginnings of processing information with the scientific method.

Civica Infrastructure Inc. specializes in waste water management. I conducted Fog and Dye tests and man hole inspections to identify storm water inflow and infiltration into sanitary sewer systems. All three types of tests/ inspections identify faults in sewer systems including cracks and improper connections. I collected data from monitoring equipment installed in sewer systems, monitoring wells and storm ponds. I also evaluated sedimentation levels in storm catch basins and data quality from all installed equipment. Additionally, I was responsible for vehicle maintenance, organizing tools and extra equipment. I self delegated tasks throughout the day, communicated and collaborated with co-field technicians, data analysts and project managers. I prioritized tasks given, to increase efficiency for project completion. I communicated project purposes to homeowners in different jurisdictions throughout Southern Ontario while representing different municipalities. There were previously completed Community Adaptation Action Plans and Community Land Use Plans meant to unify the communities goals in self development in the face of climate change.
