I lead the team in using data to analyze regional trends and create plans for the efficient movement of those who live, work, and play throughout the region.The community development program focuses on the economic vitality and meaningful development of the region's urban and rural communities through implementation of a region-wide economic development strategy. I connect organizations to federal and state funding for infrastructure and economic and workforce development projects, and build partnerships and collect data to tackle the region's most pressing challenges impacting economic prosperity and sustainable land use practices, including housing attainability.Tri-County's environmental program brings local communities together to promote regional water and air quality strategies that transcend political boundaries and fulfill local requirements for state and federal regulatory programs. Alpha Xi Delta is one of 14 sororities within Michigan State University’s Greek community, which includes 63 multicultural fraternal organizations.As the 2015 Public Relations Vice President, I served on an eight-member executive committee that governed over 150 members. I also managed my own public relations council and delegated publicity, social media, apparel, marketing, and internal and external communication tasks to council members. Being the newest sorority on campus, I implemented a publicity and marketing strategy to improve our external and internal image. I incorporated communication activities with local media, alumnae, current members, potential new members, the Greek community, university representatives, and local East Lansing businesses. Additionally, I assisted in generating promotional, advertising, and graphics materials for these activities, which included social media fundraiser events and posts, fundraiser and chapter apparel, gifts to students on campus, and social media posts of members’ accomplishments, birthdays, and community involvement.
