Jarvis Communications, Inc. creates and manages public relations programs for companies, people and brands in the wine, spirits, food and travel industries. As the firm's first full-time employee in 2005, I worked with President Katherine Jarvis to manage all aspects of a boutique PR firm focused on boutique, premium wineries. My duties included managing all editorial copy for clients, writing and editing all feature-length press materials and assisting in the drafting of press releases, website copy, wine descriptions, label copy and more. In 2003, I moved to southern California to take on regional editing duties for the publisher's shelter magazine, California Home & Design.
