My name is Nicole Castano, I am a Property Services Administrator at Village Realty. I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in May 2021, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and as a Summa Cum Laude. Throughout my college career, I held several positions involved with students and their academic success. One opportunity included being a front desk assistant, where I gained valuable skills in data intake and customer service by assisting others with various billing, academic, and personal affairs. I became confident and passionate about helping others succeed academically and financially in their educational goals. Having done this, I felt inspired to take a research assistant position focused on health communication and media literacy with Title 1 elementary schools in Wilmington, NC. With this, I acquired valuable work experience in editing, researching, and creating detailed informational videos. By expanding my technological skills of editing and conversing digitally, I successfully designed new learning material to create change in the community. I wanted to create change in my hometown, located in the Outer Banks. I feel like I can pursue this passion alongside Village Realty, and I am excited for the future.
