I discovered my professional passions by following my personal values. Having worked for causes that matter to me, I have been able to enjoy developing a deep skill set in people management, relationship building, and systemisation. I now thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling complex problems, and supporting my colleagues to achieve to the best of their abilities. My passion to support others allowed me to quickly progress during my time with Distribute Aid, ultimately becoming the Director of Operations, and moving to their board upon my decision to relocate back to the U.K.The journey my career has taken me on thus far is one that has challenged me and led me to achieve more than I thought possible. Some of these achievements include:- Sustaining 10% month-over-month operational growth,- Increasing employee retention by 300%,- Managing 20+ strategic initiatives,- Mentoring an internationally dispersed team of 20+ people,- Maintaining relationships with a network of 150+ organisations,- Securing £6.5M+ in in-kind donations,- Pioneering and implementing a needs assessment serving 80+ NGOs across 8+ countries.My ability to build trust with executives, be highly dependable, and always be ready to support others has allowed for huge growth and successes in my previous organisations. Both friends and colleagues regularly tease me for my love of Excel and Notion, but using these tools to analyse data and create order is one of my favourite activities in both my personal and professional life. Outside of work, I seek my thrills in nature and rock climbing!
