I am an actor and an independent filmmaker. I have made several short films both as a part of my academic studies as well as independently. I have worked as a writer, director, producer, and actor on several of these films. I have also worked on other independent film projects in various capacities, as an actor and a crew member. Additionally, during my senior year at UMass Amherst, I created a video essay entitled "Crossing the Borders of National Cinema" as a part of my UMass Amherst Honors Undergraduate Thesis.

I assisted the fiscal team at the Mass Cultural Council in sending COVID relief grants to 4,000 artists and 1,000 cultural organizations in Massachusetts. In this role, I used Smart Simple to send grant letters to recipients. Once the grant packages were received from the recipients, I entered the recipients' information into MARS, the state's database. I worked directly with Cyndy Gaviglio, the Manager of Contracts and Training as well as with Kate McDougall, the MCC's Controller.

As a member of NAHRO's professional development team, I was primarily responsible for promptly responding to customer requests via phone and email. Further, I created NAHRO products in Protech and then updated the corresponding product details in Salesforce. I also assisted the communications team in drafting social media posts to share with NAHRO's membership base to promote upcoming trainings and NAHRO events.

As an associate at the Hollywood Salvage retail location in Westborough, I was a vital team member, and I helped establish the new non-profit as a part of the New England film community. I processed incoming clothing and props from the organization's two props warehouses in Devens, MA, and Leominster, MA. I was then responsible for researching the various items to determine an appropriate price. Additionally, I was responsible for greeting customers and informing them about Hollywood Salvage's mission.In addition to the retail side of this position, I was involved in conceptualizing events for the organization such as their tent sale as well as writer's nights. Further, I ran Hollywood Salvage's Instagram and Facebook pages. I created content to help promote the products in the retail store as well as the mission of the non-profit organization.

At WMUA, I hosted a weekly radio show called Femme FM that I ran with a co-DJ. Our radio show featured all female artists and took place on Fridays 6-8 pm. With my co-DJ, I worked to create weekly themed playlists, as well as write talking points about the music and the artists for our vocal breaks. I operated the soundboard to play music from a computer, CDs, or records, as well as to play PSAs recorded on Adobe Audition.

I processed shipments for Victoria's Secret, PINK, and beauty. I also set up the sales floor to display new merchandise based on the Brand Guide. I assisted customers in finding what they needed, and I made sure to inform them about current promotions. Further, I worked the register and encouraged customers to open up credit cards with Victoria's Secret.

For The Massachusetts Daily Collegian, I wrote weekly/bi-weekly articles for 'Arts & Living' section. My article topics varied from film reviews and music reviews to profiles about events at UMass Amherst and analyses of cultural events. I also worked for the translation department and translated Collegian articles into French.

Boston

In this position, I assisted the Director of Administration and Finance for Boston City Hall's Office of Arts and Culture. I entered data into a grants database, organized and maintained digital files of grant documents and resources and produced grant activity reports, payment reports and other reports needed for Boston Cultural Council members. I also was responsible for handling incoming and outgoing correspondences and helping to prepare for Boston Cultural Council meetings (meeting minutes, and coordinating catering). During my time as an intern in the summer of 2018, I also assisted Company One Theater with administrative tasks for their summer production of "Leftovers" (funded by the Boston Cultural Council).
