This small one man mobile welding business quickly grew to a 17 man Boilermaking team with associated labourers, apprentices and trades assistants that serviced large Mine Operations around Cloncurry and the North West region of Queensland.When the demand for labour across the region became a necessity, a Labour hire arm was added to the business. The Labour Hire division of Curry Contracting also experienced growth and success and superseded the Engineering division of the business.In 2016 it became apparent that for local people in regional communities to significantly benefit from any new investment or development in the Western areas of Queensland, Local People with Local Knowledge would be required and the Curry Contracting Labour Hire arm evolved into Western Labour Hire Pty Ltd.Western Labour Hire has successfully established partnerships with other Local Businesses, Traditional Owners and a Globally recognised Mining Contractor because of our ability to deliver a quality service that combines industry and local knowledge with the needs of both the client and the local community.
