Nicole has been involved with the Sudbury Regional Science fair since 1991. Over the years, she has been Chief judge, Chair of the awards committee, Chair of the Communications committee, Vice President and is now President/Chair.

At Science North, I lead an amazing team that:• ensures we deliver excellent curriculum-based hands-on science experiences for students in our two science centres (http://sciencenorth.ca/schools/), Science North and Dynamic Earth through visits at the centre, through overnight programs and e-workshop programs,• delivers fun science programs to students throughout Northern Ontario, • works out of our satellite Thunder Bay office to deliver fun, educational and interactive science programs to schools throughout the Northwest part of Ontario, as well in informal science programs• plans and delivers programs in First Nations schools and communities• plans and delivers great informal science programs through science camps (March break, summer, holidays) and PA days, with summer camps offered in 25 communities last year!• delivers very cool science experiences at festivals, fairs, private camps, libraries and Provincial Parks throughout Northern Ontario• organizes and delivers major events such as the Canada Day Celebrations, Easter Weekend Fun, the New Year's Eve family day in Sudbury as well as special activities in Thunder Bay and Science festivals in Northern Ontario communities
