I am a Senior Legal Counsel at the Commerce Commission. Before specialising in competition law, I was trusted by public agencies and private clients with some of New Zealand’s most sensitive and complex commercial and criminal matters.I advised on health and disability legislation and policy, tort and contract claims, professional disciplinary proceedings and compliance with core public legislation.At the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care, I spent 2021 as Senior Legal Advisor and Team Leader for the Health and Disability Investigation Team.As a litigator, I led criminal prosecutions in the District Court and High Court for the Crown, New Zealand Police, Commerce Commission and Real Estate Authority. I have experience on appeals to the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
