I oversaw the receptionist area and served as the first point of contact for both in-person and telephone inquiries. I was responsible for tracking orders, managing the bank account and calendar, and organizing mailing lists. Using Salsa CRM, I interacted with ECAN's donors through phone, email, and written correspondences. In addition to daily administrative tasks, I helped maintain the organization's website and social media accounts. When requested, I assisted in the design and development of content posted online and mailed out. Multiple times of the year, I handled the additional tasks associated with fundraisers, demonstrating my ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

I was responsible for introducing Japanese students to the English language through the use of carefully developed curricula and fun, educational games. In addition to modifying existing lesson plans based on class performance, I created new curricula for classes that did not quite fit the mold of conventional Japanese instruction materials. I worked in an environment with coworkers and clients from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. I overcame many obstacles presented when working in a foreign country by maintaining flexibility, keeping an open mind, and adapting to my surroundings.
