Active member of the clinical research community with a Certificate in Clinical Research through the Michener Institute. Currently working on large-scale, randomized, pragmatic trials under the Accelerating Randomized Trials Platform. Previous experience in molecular biology and biochemistry research through my research studentships and undergraduate honours thesis during my Bachelor of Health Science honours program at the University of Calgary majoring in Biomedical Sciences. Previously worked as a Laboratory Scientist at Diagnostics Biochem Canada, furthering my laboratory biochemistry skills. My combination of lab research experience and desire to help improve the lives of individuals burdened by illness led me to pursue a career in clinical research. I find as I continue to learn more about clinical trials, my interest continues to grow and expand into new topics and diseases/conditions. I aspire to apply my clinical research coordination skills in the field of oncology with particular focus on preventative interventions and the mental well-being of cancer patients.
