As the Senior Vice President of People at LifeLabs, I am a business leader who focuses on culture and people strategies to achieve transformational change and ambitious goals. I joined LifeLabs in 2017, partnering with the CEO to champion our transformation into a healthcare disruptor. My goal was to develop a people strategy that enabled this transformation across all areas of our company. As we continue on our evolution, my passion is to make talent and culture a competitive advantage in a rapidly changing industry. Prior to LifeLabs, I held HR leadership roles at complex, multi stakeholder organizations including Progressive Waste Solutions, the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) and Transcontinental Inc. Working in both union and non-union environments, I am adept at uniting teams to execute transformative corporate initiatives.Throughout my career, I have built my reputation as a trusted advisor to CEOs and boards of directors for publicly and privately traded companies. Fluently bilingual, I combine my HR experience with a strong knowledge of customer service and operations, to make a powerful impact at all levels of an organization. Leading and participating on boards is also a fulfilling aspect of my work. I am currently the chair of the Retirement Plan Committee at LifeLabs and was the chair of the Pension Committee for the GTAA. Leveraging my expertise, I contribute a unique business perspective to board governance, including CEO and executive selection, executive compensation, talent optimization, diversity, equity and inclusion. I am currently completing the Director Educaiton Program at RotmanIn my spare time, I am an avid reader and enjoy playing tennis. I have attended two of the four tennis grand slams and looking forward to attending the other two, while continuing to improve my game (albeit not always successfully :-).
